10 TV Episodes You Didn't Know Were Filmed By Famous Hollywood Directors
4. Community Justin Lin
Episode: "Interpretive Dance" Wait a minute, hold the phone, Community gets in twice? And Justin Lin? Everyone knows he directed the first "Modern Warfare" finale in season one! Well, you got me there, except that Justin Lin actually directed a couple of other episodes before he did the now classic Community finale. He not only did "Introduction To Statistics," still the best Halloween episode of the series, but also "Interpretive Dance." For a director with film credits such as Better Luck Tomorrow, Fast and Furious, and Annapolis, you wouldn't think he had the repertoire for a quirky, dialogue heavy sit-com. But he does an admirable job, and this is one of my favourites from a strong first season. And besides, it's a great episode filled with memorable lines. My favourite was when Britta gets to say "what do you mean, 'you people'?" to Shirley. Classic.
