10 TV Show Comic Spin-Offs That Are Surprisingly Awesome

Being one of the longest-running shows of all time, it's no surprise The Simpsons has its own comic line. What might be more surprising is that some of the best comic book writers of all time have penned comics for the hit show and created some great stories.

Some of the best stories can be found inside the Treehouse of Horror issues, which are released annually. With stories from Garth Ennis, Gene Colan, and even Rob Zombie, you can open up pretty much any issue and read something brilliantly creative.

Even Radioactive Man has his own comic series which is way better than it has any right to be. Parodying the various eras of comic books and their respective political climates, the Radioactive Man issues provide some genuinely good Superhero stories while keeping the Simpsons style.

In terms of the mainline run of comics, a great starting off point is Homer Won't Squeal, which acts as a semi-sequel to the movie, revealing what happened to Homer's pet pig after he saved the town.
