10 TV Shows DC Should Make Next

8. New Gods

Soon Syfy will deliver Krypton, a Superman prequel set on the Man of Steel's homeworld before it was destroyed. It's an intriguing idea that will hopefully pay off - particularly because it could open the door to more cosmic DC dramas.

Like a series dedicated to the New Gods, for example. Jack Kirby's Fourth World mythology is one of the most imaginative corners of the DC universe so there would be a lot of great material to work with - the central rivalry between New Genesis and Apokolips, fun characters such as Mister Miracle and Big Barda, the evil schemes of Darkseid's underlings like Granny Goodness and much more. As for the big blue bad guy himself, it would probably be best to keep him out of sight - just in case the movie division wants to use him.

The Justice League movie totally dropped the ball with bringing this mythos to the screen, so fans really deserve a more faithful adaptation that could bring Kirby's inventions to life with style.
