10 TV Shows That Cleverly Foreshadow What Happens

4. Breaking Bad - The Plane Explosion

GLEN WALKING DEAD
AMC

AMC's Breaking Bad was great at foreshadowing things without anyone ever noticing. At the end of the show's second season, a Boeing 737 explodes over Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the event was subtly hinted at throughout the entire season via short black and white teasers at each episode's opening.

What really ended up giving it away... at least in hindsight, were the titles of the episodes. Hardly any viewers even take note of a show's episode titles, and most just want to see what happens each week, so this one passed a ton of viewers' notice.

There were four titles that specifically, and quite literally, spelled out the plane crash. These included "Seven Thirty-Seven," "Down," "Over," and "ABQ." ABQ is the airport code for Albuquerque, so when you read all the titles together, it spells out the phrase, "737 Down Over Albuquerque."

It's all right there in the titles, but if you're like most people, you would never have seen it. Looking back at a list of episodes, it's obvious, but few people noticed the clever hints given to them each and every week, so if you picked up on it while watching the show, go ahead and pat yourself on the back.
