10 TV Shows You Didn't Know Had Weird Connections
1. The Walking Dead & Invincible
It's always fun when actors from one show come back together in another. A highlight of the subpar and underwhelming final season of The Boys was seeing Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins on screen together again with Jensen Ackles. Jeffrey Dean Morgan also appeared, though not in any scenes with his Supernatural co-stars.
Instead, the Watchmen actor enjoyed something of a Walking Dead reunion in Invincible. Famously playing Negan, Morgan was part of one of the biggest ever TV cliffhangers, in which the opening of season seven confirmed that he had killed Steven Yeun's Glenn.
The latter would go on to be the lead for Prime's outstanding Invincible series, playing Mark Grayson, an Earth-based superhero who would eventually have an epic face-off with the Viltrumite Conquest, played by Morgan. However, this wasn't the first connection between The Walking Dead and Invincible - that actually came long before Invincible first aired.
Alongside numerous sightings of Invincible comics, in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment in The Walking Dead's season six, some Invincible toys could be seen six years before the story was adapted to TV. Invincible, as well as Omni-Man, Allen the Alien, and Atom Eve could all be seen long before Yeun and Morgan's animated reunion.
