10 Upcoming New Comic Book TV Shows To Be Excited About
1. Loki
The MCU's master of mischief was just too good to let go of so, even though his character's arc came to a heroic but tragic end, Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as Thor's trickster brother in a self-titled Disney+ spinoff.
Like fellow MCU offshoots WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki takes place in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame and it will focus on the version of the character that tucked his cape between his legs and ran off to who-knows-where with the Tesseract.
What makes it even more interesting is that this isn't the same Loki who developed into the antihero we know and love; it's the 2012 iteration that served as the Big Bad of The Avengers and wanted earth to kneel before him.
It's unknown if the series will explore a new redemption arc for the character - one seemingly without Thor - or if it'll show us what he could have become had his villainy been allowed to completely overcome him. Either way, we do know that he'll at least cross paths with the Time Variance Authority because he's literally out of his time and, if we know Loki (which we really, really do), it's probably not going to end well for them.
