10 Upcoming New Comic Book TV Shows To Be Excited About

2. WandaVision

Batman Zack Snyder's Justice League Snyder Cut
Marvel Studios

Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany didn't have an awful lot of time to flesh out Wanda Maximoff and Vision's love story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's adventures, but thanks to their obvious chemistry it still felt like your heart had been ripped out when Thanos killed the latter in Infinity War.

If they can do that with limited screen-time, can you imagine what they're going to do with a six-part series?

WandaVision will explore new aspects of the pair's romance through an innovative format that will see the two of them living the ideal suburban life - something that shouldn't be possible in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame (and certainly not inside of a sitcom). Naturally, they begin to realise that something is off about their sitcom sanctuary.

Its trailer previewed only some of the boundary-pushing madness that is yet to come in a show that will undoubtedly showcase the extent of Scarlet Witch's powers - all while giving these two great characters a chance to show us why their love is so strong.

Release date: December 2020
