10 Upcoming New Comic Book TV Shows To Be Excited About

6. She-Hulk

Batman Zack Snyder's Justice League Snyder Cut
Marvel Studios

It's been a long time coming but the ball is beginning to roll for She-Hulk. The heavily-anticipated MCU offshoot has been in the works at Disney+ for some time now, but unlike The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki, it was hard to gauge what was actually happening with it.

That is, until Marvel Studios revealed that they've nailed down a director/executive producer and cast Tatiana Maslany in the lead role within two days of each other.

While there still isn't much out there about the plot of the upcoming series yet, you can infer some of the events that will likely happen. Maslany's Jennifer Walters will undoubtedly suffer a life-threatening injury that will leave her in need of a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. Naturally, this will lead to a big green future for the woman who will become She-Hulk.

She-Hulk has been one of the characters fans have been waiting to see in the MCU for a long time and introducing her in her own series is undoubtedly a way to familiarise new fans with her - and hopefully serve as a way of allowing Mark Ruffalo's Hulk to continue to appear in an MCU that doesn't need the 'big green guy' as much as it once did.

Release date: TBA (expected early 2022)
