10 Upcoming New Comic Book TV Shows To Be Excited About

7. Superman And Lois

Batman Zack Snyder's Justice League Snyder Cut
The CW

The next installment in The CW's overwhelmingly successful Arrowverse, Superman and Lois is a spin on a show that fans have been hoping for for half a decade - one that could end up improving the initial idea a great deal and giving the shared universe of heroes its most innovative offering yet.

Yes, the positive reception to Tyler Hoechlin's debut as the Man of Steel on Supergirl has had us all calling for a standalone Superman show for some time. But instead of giving us just another superhero series, the network has decided to use this opportunity to experiment with their successful formula.

Superman and Lois will be co-headlined by Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane - who also made her debut on Supergirl - as it delves into their marriage and explores what it's like raising teenage boys (thank the Crisis On Infinite Earths for that one) and being superhero reporters at the same time.

Hoechlin and Tulloch's chemistry is great and, if executed correctly, this could very well end up being this generation's version of Lois and Clark.
