6. The Munsters
The Original: The 1960s sitcom followed a group of Monsters as they attempted to keep with their kooky and spooky ways of life, regardless of the modern world. A strong cast of Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster), Yvonne De Carlo (Lily Munster), and Al Lewis (Grandpa Munster) helped the show miraculously flourish for two seasons, despite competition from TV’s other ghoulish family, The Addams Family.
The Reboot: Odd Mom Out creator Jill Kargman and Seth Meyers have been tapped to helm the show that will put a new Munster family in hipster Brooklyn. (Not even kidding, that’s the idea.)
Chance Of Survival: Let’s call this reboot what it is, an idea better presented as a Saturday Night Live sketch that airs in the last 10 minutes of the show.
