4. Rick And The Irish Lady

At the top of Season 4 Rick comes across a disheveled young Irish woman who he almost mistakes for a walker. He follows her back to her camp, learning all the way about her great man who protected her from the horror, her Eddie. It sounds like a campfire story and the ending is befitting of just that. After swiping at Rick with a machete, she confesses that she needed to feed Eddie something alive. Eddie is in fact an undead head in a bag. She begs Rick not to stop her turning and stabs herself to be with him. This makes the list not only for this monstrous action out of love, but her subsequent suicide for the same reason. Rick asks the questions to equally saddening effect and allows her to die without killing her brain. A dangerous act of kindness that doesn€™t make the scene any less traumatized. This woman€™s motives were not warped in any way, but misguided and we could all do the same in her situation. She said it herself; maybe you don€™t get to come back from it. A troubling thought for any dead fan thinking of their favourite character. €also Rick takes back the sandwich he gave her. Pretty cold.
