10 Worst Simpsons Guest Stars (Who Played Themselves)

Ronaldo (Brazilian, not Cristiano) only has a small appearance in The Simpsons, but it’s so terrible that it needs to be included. It wasn’t overhyped like Justin Bieber’s appearance, but in terms of quality, it was even worse.

Not only would it be nonsense for Ronaldo to be at an under eights game, just wandering around in his Real Madrid kit, his delivery is terrible too. In fairness, English isn’t his native language and having played in the Netherlands, Spain and Italy, learning the language wouldn’t have been his first priority.

However, he dubbed himself in his first language of Portuguese, and is apparently just as bad. The fact Homer recognises him from his FIFA Player Of The Year awards rather than his Copa America, Golden Boot, Cup Winner’s Cup wins or league titles is bonkers as well.

Having a sportsman this high also allows for an honorary mention of another thoroughly wooden guest spot from Yao Ming. Again, not a native English speaker, but when the set up for his joke is that he speaks fluently, his delivery’s wooden as a log cabin.

’Quiet kid, I got a good thing going here’ might be the worst delivered line in the show’s history. Kudos, Ming.
