10 Worst TV Shows Of 2016
1. Damien
It's admittedly an interesting premise: following Damien from the The Omen long after his Satanic past. No, he's not deranged by the sheer horror of what happened to him when he was just a boy, he's now a war photographer, and doesn't remember any of that grim, Devilish murder.
Of course, the horrors of war trigger memories in Damien of what happened to him in the past, and he begins a terrifying journey of self-discovery. In theory, anyway. The journey itself is painfully, desperately not terrifying, guided by Ann Rutledgy (Barbara Hershey) who is keen to help Damien embrace the fact that he's the Antichrist.
Lacking wit, humour, scares, coherence and anything resembling decent writing, it's unsurprising that Damien's trip to A&E proved fatal, with the network cancelling the show after just one season.
