7. The Mandalorian (Season 3)
It was going quite well in its first year, but The Mandalorian has finally ran out of steam with its third season, which seems to have absolutely no idea what story it wants to tell, or what to do with its increasingly bland characters.
Complete with tacky effects and forgettable action, the show's latest season gets too tied up trying to link itself to the wider lore of the Star Wars universe, burying its once-simple story of a bounty hunter and his cute 'lil sidekick in exposition and subplots that feel irritatingly drawn-out.
It's not a total write-off -- when it remembers the bond shared between Din and Grogu, it feels the way it always should have, and Katee Sackoff shines as Bo-Katan Kryze -- but is an impressively dull affair overall. At least it's not as poor as The Book of Boba Fett, mind (even if that wasn't a particularly high bar).
