11 Great TV Shows Starring The Cast Of The Big Bang Theory

6. Jim Parsons (Sheldon) - Hollywood

The Flight Attendant
Netflix

Hollywood is a 2020 miniseries that follows a group of actors in the post-WWII era who will do anything (and anyone) to break into show business. The showrunners' ability to emulate, not just the look of the Golden Age of Hollywood, but the feel, proves they spared no expense to make this drama feel like it was filmed in the 1950s.

Of course, nailing the look means nothing if the acting isn't up to scratch. Thankfully, Hollywood has that in spades. The show may have received some flack for taking artistic licensing with history but that doesn't change the fact that every actor gives 100%.

However, Jim Parsons, who plays a talent agent called Henry Willson, gives 200% in every scene, as one would expect from the gifted actor. Big Bang fans may be accustomed to Parsons' impeccable comic timing and hilarious witticisms but you're probably not used to seeing him this terrifying. Being a self-proclaimed starmaker, his character knows he can make or break a star's career with a single utterance. Even though Hollywood has a phenomenal cast, Parsons is lightyears ahead of everyone else as usual.
