A talented, acerbic, funny, charming writer and filmmaker, Smith has forged quite the career doing Q&As for fans over the last few years, and his openness is just wonderful to witness. Name dropping is rarely done this well, but seek out his stories on Prince or the time he got offered to write a script for Superman and Bruce Willis to name but a few. A massive cinephile and lover of comic books, Smith is a tremendously sharp individual and seems like an absolute gent. Its an underrated ability, but QI is amazing at letting everyone share the floor, and all bravado is left at the door. American guests are a rarity, but hes another that could do a grand old job.
