12 AWFUL TV Shows Doctor Who Actors Want You To Forget
3. Marvel's Iron Fist - Sacha Dhawan
There are just not enough words to describe what a dreadful disappointment this Netflix TV series was, especially after the outstanding shows that had come before it. In fact it would not be unfair to say that Iron Fist was the beginning of the end for the Netflix Marvel Universe. The dreary man of the mystical arts, portrayed with zero energy by Finn Jones, managed to single handedly suck all momentum that the Netflix Marvel franchise once had.
Sacha Dhawan, who was a rare highlight of Doctor Who's 12th season with his menacing portrayal of The Master, stepped into the role of chief baddie Davos in the Iron Fist second series. While appearing briefly during the first series, Dhawan's Davos was the primary antagonist for in what proved to be the final series of the show, playing a rival Iron Fist who temporarily gained the powers that once belonged to Danny Rand. Dhawan unfortunately matched Jones' lifeless performance, no doubt under instruction to not outshine the charisma lite protagonist.
While the second series wasn't quite as bad as the pitiful first series, it was still an extremely disinteresting slog that is a blight on the MCU brand. The show continued to take itself way too seriously, and any half decent fight scenes were undone by the lead performance of Jones and a dull and lifeless story. The fact Iron Fist managed to ruin The Defenders all star team up was just more salt on the wounds for MCU fans.
