12 Best MCU Disney+ Episodes So Far (According To IMDb)
1. The Nexus Event (Loki - Ep 4) - 9.1
Though not a terrible episode by any stretch, episode three of Loki essentially put the brakes on any momentum the show had built to focus solely on Loki and Sylvie’s relationship on Lamentis. Thankfully, episode four couldn’t have bounced back from that in any stronger way.
From the opening scene, showing Sylvie being picked up by Renslayer and delivered to the TVA, ‘The Nexus Event’ kicked the series into top gear and turned everything on its head. It asked newer, more important questions, started the domino trail to the series’ conclusion, and was just a rollercoaster.
From Sylvie on Asgard, this episode depicted more of Loki and Mobius’ bickering and subsequent friendship, Loki and his fear of being alone with the help of Sif, further development of Loki and Sylvie’s ‘sick and demented’ romance. Sylvie was shattered by her life being ripped away from her for something Renslayer didn’t even remember, and of course, there was the ending in front of the Time Keepers.
It’s genuinely hard to fathom how so much fitted into one episode. This is what the series had been driving towards for three episodes, but here everything changed. Loki and Mobius were pruned, and the first post-credit scene finally showed the rest of the Loki Variants in the Void at the end of time. And you thought the cliffhanger at the end of episode two was big?
