12. Cordelia Chase
She was annoying as hell, but we all had a soft spot for her! Entering at number 12 it's Cordelia Chase (Charisma Carpenter). Cordelia started off in
Buffy the Vampire Slayer as the attractive, popular, but
very obnoxious head cheerleader at Sunnydale High School. Initially, Cordelia looked down on the supposedly less popular Scoobies (the collective name for Buffy's group) but soon came to befriend them, even forming a relationship with Xander Harris and eventually becoming quite a useful member of the group as far as research went. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, which didn't go too well, and she ended up joining forces with Angel - embarking on a relationship with the heroic vampire - where she would learn to fight demons before answering her call for a higher purpose, when she became a divine being for a lengthy period. She completely redeemed herself for her early obnoxious showings in the final season of
Angel, when her last gift before passing away was to pass over vital information to Angel which allowed him to bring down the evil Circle of the Black Thorn in the show's climax.
