12 Great Sci-Fi TV Shows The World Forgot
6. Lexx
Funnier and sillier than most of the "mismatched spaceship crew head on all manner of weekly intergalactic adventures" shows it was often compared to, Lexx has been undeservedly forgotten by sci-fi fans despite being considered a cult delight when it arrived on our screens over a decade ago.
Set on the eponymous spaceship/ most dangerous weapon in the galaxy (which has been accidentally commandeered by our ostensible heroes in the pilot), this show offered a satirical spin on space-set adventure series which saw its protagonists travel through galaxies and visit all manner of bizarre planets to encounter surreal characters and learn lessons which were thinly veiled potshots at the likes of the more series Star Trek franchise.
Light and agreeably silly, this smart sci-fi satire deserves more love.
