12 Great Sci-Fi TV Shows The World Forgot
7. Nightmare Café
Starring Freddy Krueger himself Robert Englund as its ghoulish (though less scarred this time around) host, Nightmare Cafe combined elements of fantasy, sci-fi, and horror in an anthology series with a difference.
Where most hosts only introduce standalone stories onset, here the stories took place in the eponymous Nightmare Cafe, a reality warping setting where anything could happen and the fates of each week's new arrival protagonist was often sealed before they even stepped inside its strange doors.
An odd and offbeat addition to the full slate of late eighties sci-fi anthology series, this one may not have lasted long but that doesn't mean a trip to the titular trippy location isn't well overdue for genre fans.
