Just when you think you've seen all of Doctor Who there is to see, you find out that there's an entire abundance of episodes that are missing. This is a problem for fans because it's just so damned frustrating, to know that there are classic adventures out there that you should be able to watch but can't because the BBC decided to delete them for apparently no reason whatsoever (it actually had something to do with their archiving policies, but why oh why did the Doctor have to be one of the ones who suffered?!). There was a glimmer of hope back in 2013 (in the year of the show's 50th anniversary - coincidence? Probably!) when two previously incomplete Patrick Troughton adventures, The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear, were discovered at a TV relay station in Africa. There's always rumours floating around that further serials have been found but until that day comes, at least there's the animated restorations to keep us going, eh? Just as a side note, it would take one a grand total of 15 and a half days to watch every single available episode of Doctor Who to date, so perhaps it would be best to get through all of that before any more is added to the load. One day, though, they shall come back...
