12 Problems Only Doctor Who Fans Will Understand

2. The Possibilities Are Endless... Literally

Which means that anything can - and will - happen. Which means that Doctor Who quite literally has the power to turn its fans completely insane. And it's not just temporarily loopy, either. This is bonafide categorial craziness, like the Master having a senior moment and turning everyone on Earth into him, only less narcissistic and there's (usually) a reasonable explanation. In short, if you haven't been kept up all night dissecting your latest weird and wonderful theories, scouring the web for the latest spoilers and filming developments and generally just being sent around the bend and back again by your unequivocal obsession with all things timey-wimey, you're probably not doing it right. As a Doctor Who fanatic, you should be prepared for it to well and truly take over your life, something that's potentially problematic considering the fact you actually have to live a life, too ('life' is that thing that goes on while the rest of us are refreshing Twitter for the latest Series 9 updates). Somehow they manage to get it done, though, amidst their ongoing fevered forays into madness at the hands of TV's favourite Time Lord. Some Doctor Who fans juggle it all so well that they even manage to maintain some sort of social life, too, but these cases really are few and far between. Anyway, nobody claims to "have it all under control" like a Doctor Who fan. Oh, and Clara Oswald. But look what happened to her... *gulp*.
