13 Badass Doctor Who Moments That Made Us All Cheer

9. The Doctor Says No

It turns out that the Daleks have survived the Time War and billions are out in space ready to destroy everything in sight. Worst, they had Rose Tyler. They contacted the Doctor through video communication. The Daleks told the Doctor not to intervene when the Daleks fleet attacks or else Rose will be exterminated. What did the Doctor had to say about it?
The Doctor: No. [everyone looks at The Doctor, stunned] Dalek: Explain yourself. The Doctor: I said no. Dalek: What is the meaning of this negative? The Doctor: It means no! Dalek: But she will be destroyed! The Doctor: *No*! 'Cause this is what I'm gonna do - I'm gonna rescue her! I'm gonna save Rose Tyler from the middle of the Dalek fleet, and then I'm gonna save the Earth, and *then* - just to finish you off - I'm gonna wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky! Dalek: But you have no weapons, no defences, no *plan*! The Doctor: Yeah, and doesn't that scare you to death? [to Rose] The Doctor: Rose? Rose: Yes, Doctor? The Doctor: I'm coming to get you.
The Doctor ends the communication link. End credits. Firstly; the Doctor is so badass that the Daleks had to tell him not to interfere from them attacking, even if there was no visible way the Doctor could stop a billion Dalek Fleet. Secondly; what is so great about the cliffhanger is that it is not a cliffhanger for the Doctor; it is a cliffhanger for the Daleks. The Doctor is coming and they don't know how, when and where. And all of them are visibly scarred, panicking not knowing what to do. It's one of the best cliffhangers of the new series that almost seems forgotten by the fans.
