13 Problems Only Game Of Thrones Fans Will Understand
10. Actually Liking The Bad Guys
Few characters on the show are inherently good people, and if they are it's only a matter of time before they're either corrupted or burnt alive at the stake (Stannis is no longer the Mannis). While most of them exist in various shades of grey, there are a couple who are just absolutely evil. And, well, they're really quite brilliant to watch. There haven't been many villains on TV better than King Joffrey. Yes, he was completely detestable, and we've all watched that gif of Tyrion slapping him countless times because it's the best, but thanks to the writing and Jack Gleeson's performance he was incredible to watch. There were cheers when he died, but also, just a little bit of sadness. Admit it, you kinda miss him. Taking over Joff's mantle as the most psychopathic kid in Westeros is Ramsay Bolton, who may be even more dangerous and deranged. Again, it's going to be great when he eventually gets his comeuppance, hopefully at the hands of Sansa, but on the other hand there's hopefully going to be a lot more of the (former) bastard to come.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
