4. Resetting The Status Quo

The reason that the second season of 13 Reasons Why didn't work was down to the fact that it was retreading the same territory that it had already covered in Season 1 - highlighting how everyone was coping in the aftermath of Hannah's death.

The previous teaser suggested that Season 3 would turn things upside down in a bid to refresh the show and, by the looks of this trailer, it certainly seems to have done that.

While Hannah's story is over, these characters are now being used to tell a very different story and, just like that, they appear to have purpose once again.

Season 2 felt like a poor remake of the first season - this, however, this feels like a proper sequel.
