That's right, a Ghostbusters star, Winston Zeddemore himself, is joining Twin Peaks. Hudson is of course best known for his part in the two iconic supernatural comedies, while his role as Warden Leo Glynn on HBO's Oz proved that he was just as great, if not better, in the more serious-minded arena.
It's also interesting to note his casting as he's one of the very few non-white characters who will appear on the show, and Lynch's previous works have been criticised for their lack of ethnic diversity.
Who Will He Play?: A role of authority just seems like a slam dunk for someone like Hudson, considering the statuesque figure he cuts and his booming voice. Perhaps a local politician if not a police chief of some kind.
