15 Anime To Binge After Attack On Titan Ends
4. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Anime fans have plenty of tips and tricks to convince their friends to try the genre. But, at the back of every fan's arsenal are some shows so good they can get any anime hater singing along. Two prominent examples of this are, Attack on Titan (of course) and Fullmetal Alchemist.
FMA follows a pair of brothers called Edward and Alphonse Elric. These youngsters attempted to bring their mother back to life using alchemy, but their mission failed, leaving Edward with missing limbs and Alphonse's soul trapped inside a suit of armour. Now, they are on a mission to find their only salvation, the philosopher's stone.
It's easy to see the appeal in this series, as there's an epic sense of adventure. The brothers go to all sorts of places and run into so many characters, making it so that there's never a dull moment. Plus, the dynamic between the brothers gives the show a wonderful sense of heart.
Overall, this one is also a buy one get one free, as there are two versions of the show. The first (Fullmetal Alchemist) departs from the manga and tells its own story, and the remade version (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) is more in keeping with the source material. Despite the differences, they're both worthy of your time.
