Evan Peters has appeared as a main character in more seasons of American Horror Story than any other actor, only missing out on 1984.
An incredibly gifted actor, Peters' biggest talent lies in his uncanny ability to portray even the most awful and flawed characters with a level of humanity and understanding.
In Murder House, for example, he played Tate Langdon, a high schooler who seemed nice enough, falling for Zoe and attending therapy to help with his mental health, but underneath all his endearing appearance he was revealed to be a rapist, school shooter and murderous psychopath.
A hard role to play for sure, but one Peters could pull off with no issues. In Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke and Cult he continued this trend, playing a series of terrible and just plain evil figures and finding a way to tap into their sympathetic side.
