Starring Glover and Maya Erskine as assassins hired by a mysterious organisation requiring them to pose as a married couple for a new job, the thriller boasts a brilliantly focussed narrative approach, with each episode following the pair as they fall in love despite their vocation and misgivings.
At times brutally violent, often very funny, and frequently disarming as a tender romance, Mr & Mrs Smith is a small screen rom-com with flare to spare, grounded throughout by the chemistry and natural comedy stylings of its committed co-leads.
