During his first few appearances, the Inhuman Gordon came off as a genuinely good guy, using his powers of teleportation to keep others like him safe and bring them to the sanctuary of Afterlife.
Despite hearing Raina's premonition that Jiaying's meeting with SHIELD would lead to disaster and that she herself should be the one to speak with them, Gordon's true loyalties led to him sharing the information with Jiaying, aiding his friend in moving forward with her plan to eradicate the human race.
In the end, it took Coulson, Fitz and Mac working together to take the powerful Inhuman down. However, his respectable - though misguided - devotion to his people suitably kept the moment from feeling like a complete win when Gordon could easily have followed a better path had he never been weighed down by Jiaying's negative influence.
