12. Lucian Msamati (Guido/Salladhor Saan)
Lucian Msamati was also in Series 5 of the revival, playing Guido, the father of one of the girls taken by the Saturninans in their attempt to create females so their race can continue to reproduce. Instantly likeable due to his fiery nature and willingness to do what he feels is right, Guido ends up sacrificing himself to destroy a number of the Saturninans who have come after the Doctor and company. An unsung hero of The Vampires of Venice. Msamati's character on Thrones, however, is less likely to sacrifice himself for the greater good. He plays the pirate Salladhor Saan, a friend of Davos Seaworth, Stannis Baratheon's Hand. Saan is engaged on a number of occasions to help Davos and Stannis in their battles, but is more a mercenary than a loyal soldier.
