Anchored by a superb turn from Hunger Games leading man/ underrated comic talent Josh Hutcherson (so goofily charming in the earlier Joseph Kahn flop Detention), Future Man may well be the best sci-fi show you've never watched, let alone re-watched.

The comedy sci-fi series may not be perfect, but damn if Future Man's madcap tone and anarchic humour won’t charm you into a re-watch or two.

Following an under-ambitious slacker who is drafted into intergalactic warfare upon beating his favourite arcade game, this light-hearted but gleefully obscene series benefits from the charm of its lead as well as stellar turns from Happy Endings’ Eliza Coupe and Preacher’s Derek Wilson as his pair of long suffering accomplices, not to mention guest star and executive producer Seth Rogen as, er, Susan (it makes a little more sense in context, but only a little more).
