15 Questions We Need Answering About 2016's Most Anticipated TV Shows

The back-half of The Walking Dead Season 6 was pretty great. It moved along with real purpose, and did so in a manner that was exciting, intense, violent, and gripping, as the world slowly expanded to show the Hilltop Community and the Saviours, all building towards the introduction of Negan.

And what an introduction it was. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stepped out and was pitch-perfect as the comics' greatest villain, delivering a big speech, and then after a round of 'eeny, meeny, miney, mo', he took a swing at, well, someone. And that was where it went wrong. By ending on a cliffhanger, the show ruined its great buildup and momentum, and cheapened the result.

Now, after a long wait, we're close to finding out who was killed by Negan, with the death set to happen in the Season 7 premiere. So who was it? We can almost certainly rule out Rick and Carl, leaving nine candidates, with only a few big enough to carry it off: Glenn? Abraham? Daryl? Michonne? Maggie? Anyone outside of those wouldn't really be good enough, unless there's a surprise double-kill.
