If this list has demonstrated anything, it's that sit-coms are a great place to throw audiences into the most emotional situations. The classic Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is no exception, as it showed its ability to play with big themes after Will was shot or after Will and Carlton were stopped by the police.

The most emotional part of the show's run comes when Will is reunited with his estranged father, with whom he finds himself bonding with despite his previous abandonment. Toward the end of the episode, as Will prepares to leave on a trip with his father, Lou cancels their plans and leaves Will visibly hurt.

That hurt quickly escalates, though, as Will begins to let out all of his rage and frustrations on his Uncle Phil, bravely stating that he doesn't need his father to be a good man before delivering one of TV's most heartbreaking lines: "How come he don't want me, man?"

Brilliantly acted by Will Smith and rightfully iconic, the speech is nothing short of perfect, if slightly soul destroying.
