15 Star Trek LEGO Sets Everyone Wants

2. Entry Level Sets

At a lower price point, The Lego Group can easily take hold of Star Trek and offer fans quite a bit of variety.

While ships are a key draw for many, there's room to add in an Away Team figure set, the Engineering "pool" table with Reg Barclay, or Seven of Nine with her Borg alcove. Offering smaller kits at a different price points allows fans better access to the range, as well as providing those who love these sets but don't have the room for a gigantic Galaxy-class model options, too.

Mini-figs also offer the opportunity to recreate scenes from the shows. Lore and Data could be duking it out on a cargo transporter pad, while Pike could be reclining in his Strange New Worlds captain's chair. Spock could be performing a mind-meld on the Horta, while Q hands down judgment in the post-war courtroom.

Some might love to see Lazarus with his retro-inspired ship, or even a few oily pieces combined to make Armus. In the collecting world, the more niche, the better. We just know that fans are crying out for those Warp 10-birthed Salamanders, ready to embrace the weird.

A Star Trek fan from birth, I love to dive into every aspect of the franchise in front and behind the screen. There's something here that's kept me interested for the best part of four decades! Now I'm getting back into writing and using Star Trek as my first line of literary attack. If I'm not here on WhatCulture then you're more than welcome to come and take a look at my blog, Some Kind of Star Trek at http://SKoST.co.uk or maybe follow me on Twitter as @TheWarpCore. Sometimes I force myself not to talk about Star Trek.
