20 Awesome DC TV Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

6. Welcome To Earth-2 (The Flash)

The CW

Welcome To Earth-2 was a fantastic episode of The Flash, full of humour, action, and lots and lots of nods and winks to DC lore, especially once they actually make it over to the second Earth. There's the various doppelgängers getting to play their alter-egos, such as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost and Ronnie Raymond/Deathstorm, and some really fun ones like Floyd Lawton being called Deadshot on this Earth not because he's an expert marksman, but because he's a terrible one. Then there's the promise of Mayor Snart; it's not revealed which one, but I like to imagine it's Captain Cold.

You've got the aforementioned nods to Atlantis and bow ties as well, while the most intriguing one was Barry's phone: the speed dial shows names including Bruce, Hal, and Diana, otherwise known as Batman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Women. And, for a non-DC related Easter egg, there's a book on a table in STAR Labs that's very much appropriate for this episode: A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens.
