13. As We See It

Severance Adam Scott
Amazon Studios

One of the year's most hidden gems, Amazon's As We See It tells the story of three autistic roommates as they contend with the hardships and joy of life, love and personal setbacks. Be warned, though: You won't be dry-eyed by the time it comes to an end.

Avoiding stereotype by casting actors who are themselves on the autism spectrum, the sitcom sheds light on a world rarely seen by audiences, presenting its characters as fully formed people with their own, relatable troubles, personalities and moments of real peace.

Touching, hilarious, informative and honest, As We See It is a series that begs to be seen; the sort of one-of-a-kind gem that educates as much as it entertains and pushes the boundaries of its genre. It may have been tragically cancelled already, but it still needs to be sought out.
