First Appeared In Season 3 Episode 3 - Pickle Rick

When Rick learns he has been booked in for a family therapy session, he turns himself into a pickle to avoid going. Nevertheless, his daughter brings him in to their therapist, Dr Wong, who is voiced superbly by Susan Sarandon. Wong is renowned in her field as a deeply insightful counsellor, especially when it comes to dysfunctional families (and patients who eat their own poo).

Because Wong is so calm and... well... normal, you'd think she wouldn't be particularly memorable since Rick & Morty is populated by so many wacky characters. However, Wong is one of the most defining people in the entire show for one reason - she was the first person to put Rick in his place. She highlights Rick's insecurities so effectively, he doesn't bother arguing with her and instead, accepts defeat.
