12. It Took Glenn Howerton A While To Make Dennis A Full-Blown Sociopath

If you're thinking that Dennis has become increasingly more, erm...sociopathic over the last few seasons then that's because it's exactly how Glenn Howerton wants it. Howerton, who plays the certifiably insane Dennis Reynolds with great relish, was a little cautious about his character going full-on sociopathic at the beginning but has stated that he always knew that was where the character would end up, peeling back the curtain a little bit each season. He said:

I always knew he was socio, I just wasn't ready to go all the way with it at first. It's been fun to tease it out and let it build over the years.
