20 Most Bizarre Moments In Doctor Who History

8. McCoy Dangles From A Railing For No Reason At All

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmNXj2W7yw4 Whilst searching for a "dragon", the Seventh Doctor decides to randomly climb over a guard rail on top of a sheer, icy cliff. He then promptly gets into difficulties and winds up dangling from his umbrella over a bottomless chasm. The broadcast version of these events at the end of Part 1 of 1987's Dragonfire makes no sense whatsoever. Viewers are left with the impression that the Doctor is not only peculiar but dumb as rocks, too.
