20 Most Bizarre Moments In Doctor Who History

7. The TARDIS Is Vomited Up By A Dinosaur

There simply isn't a polite way of describing what happens to the TARDIS in Capaldi's debut story, Deep Breath. It gets puked up by a giant T-Rex. The unfortunately odd aspect of this saurian regurgitation is that it's virtually certain there were never tyrannosaur-like dinosaurs big enough to swallow and upchuck objects as large as a police box. A predator that large and heavy wouldn't be fast enough to catch enough prey to avoid starvation. Besides, in the final analysis, the mega-giant T-Rex shown on screen is so much larger than any species in the fossil record that it's not remotely credible, whatever Vastra says. It looks cool, though. There's no question about that.
