20 Most Bizarre Moments In Doctor Who History

14. Turning Your Head Back And Forth Quickly Means You're Becoming The Master

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UszT_L4QWII The End of Time two part special contains much that is quintessentially Doctor Who, but it also features some pretty terrible stuff, too. Stuff, such as the Master turning into a flying, translucent skeleton, that's so God damn awful that it's positively bizarre in its badness. Topping that, though, the story also has the human population of the Earth turning into duplicates of John Simm. Just 'cause. This mass transformation starts out well with waves of energy blasting round the Earth. Then the focus switches to individual people, whose heads begin to turn from side to side in a blur of motion, for some unknown reason. After a bit of this oddness, they each turn into a grinning copy of the Master. But it's not just each person's head that's being converted, is it? It's the victim's entire body that's changing. Logically, the whole body should shake. The logical flaw wouldn't matter if the effect was cool, but actually the effect is disastrous. So there you go.
