2. The Nagging Fear That They'll Stop Making It Again

It took a long time for Fandom to learn to trust again. They'd been hurt before. Were they really ready to get their hopes up for the 2005 series reboot, remembering the pain of 1996? Fortunately the answer was yes, and as Fandom embraced Nu-Who the rest of the world did likewise. But that doesn't stop that nagging little worry. They've stopped making it before. Three times. As good as the current series is and as much global love as the show is receiving, one day this will all end. In a way this is a positive thing. Having been through it all before, Fandom is remembering to enjoy it while it's here Because it's also important to remember...

1. There's Over 40 Hours Of Doctor Who That We Will Never Get To See

It's a sobering number to think about, but it's true. There are 97 episodes of early Doctor Who that are simply gone. Watched back to back non-stop it would take nearly two entire days to get through them all. But unless you happened to have been a fan in the 60s and caught them on their original broadcast, you're never going to see them. Perhaps it's time to check on Twitter for word about the Omnirumour again... Whovians - Agree? Disagree? Others that we've missed?
