Melissa Ivy Rauch, born 23 June 1980 is most famous for her role as Bernadette in the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Born and raised in Malboro, New Jersey, she graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in acting. Not part of the original cast, Bernadette first appeared on our screens in season 3 of The Big Bang Theory back in 2009 when she guest starred as Pennys co-worker at The Cheesecake Factory. However, she soon got her tiny legs under the table and became one of the main, and much loved characters when she married Howard Wolowitz in the season five finale. As well as The Big Bang Theory, Rauch has also starred in other TV shows such as True Blood, The Office and the American remake of Kath & Kim.
