Ye skeptics with little faith leave now. There is no room for doubters in the Twin Peaks universe. The logs SEE things! Whilst painfully inanimate, inadequate, illiterate and, well... real, only the poorest Special Agents amongst you would disregard what the logs have to say! Granted, logic and reason might tell you Dale Cooper was smart enough to realise Margaret's log represented a schizophrenic manifestation of her personality in tree-bark form and to indulge discussion with the log he were, in fact, indulging discussion with her but, then again, maybe in Twin Peaks, the logs really DO see and hear. Why, what stories they could tell... if only they could speak. A tragic loss really.
19. That Signal... You Know The One
I would write in earnest about the signal fellow fans share with myself and other members but that would involve me divulging: a) what the signal means and b) who uses it, which, as you all know, I can not do. Sufficed to say, fans of Twin Peaks have baffled many a hapless friend over the years by stroking their index finger down the curve of their orbital bone, incurring looks of bemusement, disbelief, skepticism and even outright annoyance. After all, nobody likes being frozen out. If only we could tell them, we would. Wouldn't we?
Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
