20 TV Series On Netflix That Need Binge-Watching

Presumably the recently completed fourth series of Sherlock will make its way to Netflix before too long, so the complete package will be there should you want it.

But really, the focus here just needs to be on the first six episodes, aka Series 1 & 2. Before the show tok various strange and infuriating turns, these represented it at its peak: two excellent actors on top form, solving crimes in a surprisingly effective update of Arthur Conan Doyle's stories, with dazzling direction and a real cerebral quality to the tales. Indeed, after the downturn in quality, it's probably good to remind yourself just how genuinely brilliant it once was.
