21. Tom Adams
Tom Adams passed away on 11th December, aged 76, and will be recognised by Doctor Who fans for aiding the Fifth Doctor against the Silurians and Sea Devils as Commander Vorshak in the 1984 serial Warriors of the Deep. His character sacrificed himself by taking a bullet for the Doctor and as such he'll always be remembered as a character deserving of the title of a Doctor Who hero.
