14. Michael Kerrigan
Michael Kerrigan passed away on 7th August 2014 and will be remembered by Doctor Who fans for directing the 1989 serial Battlefield (above). In 2008 he returned to the Whoniverse to helm four episodes of the show's CBBC spin off The Sarah Jane Adventures - The Day of the Clown and Secrets of the Stars - making him one of a select few crew members who left their mark on both the Classic Series and its revived incarnation.
