During the show's first season, a hilarious theory emerged from eagle-eyed viewers, that the good guys all used Mac computers, while the villains used PCs. Fans continued to follow this theory in subsequent seasons, but it didn't take long for the show's creators to realise that they had started noticing, and so they began to reverse the trend, with Jack and co. using HP PCs, while Macs were used by the bad guys. It was fun while it lasted, anyway.
